Additional Super Sentai Guests to Appear at Tokyo International Film Festival

In addition to the Magiranger cast, more Super Sentai guests will appear at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

Naoya Makoto (Kaijo Tsuyoshi from Himitsu Sentai Gorenger) will appear during the screening of the Himitsu Sentai Gorenger the Movie.

Ryota Ozawa (Captain Marvelous from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) will appear at the screening of Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle, Rio Komiya (Juru Atsuta from Mashin Sentai Kiramager) will appear at the screening of Mashin Sentai Kiramaiger Episode Zero, and Kazuyoshi Sakai (Sotaro Ushigome from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger) will be presenting the Super Sentai Surprise Festival at TIFF feature.

In addition to that, during the screening of Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive vs Gingaman on November 3rd, Ryuichiro Nishioka (Matoi Tatsumi from Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive), Masashi Taniguchi (Nagare Tatsumi from Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive), Kayoko Shibata (Matsuri Tatsumi from Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive), Kazuki Maehara (Ryouma from Seijuu Sentai Gingaman), Juri Miyazawa (Saya from Seijuu Sentai Gingaman) will appear in a live discussion.

During the double feature of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger: Hi no Yama, Hoeru and Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger tai Sūpā Sentai, Noboru Kaneko (Kakeru Shishi from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger), Kei Horie (Gaku Washio from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger), Takeru Shibaki (Kai Samezu from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger), and Kazuyoshi Sakai (Sotaro Ushigome from Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger).

The 15th anniversary of Mahou Sentai Magiranger will be celebrated at the festival as well. The original six Magiranger cast are set to make an appearance and will be streamed online at 3:00 PM via the TIFF Youtube Channel and on the venue screen. The Magiranger characters will appear on stage at 1:20 PM. The cast includes Atsushi Hashimoto (Kai Ozu), Hiroya Matsumoto (Tsubasa Ozu), Asami Kai (Urara Ozu), Ayumi Beppu (Houka Ozu), Yuki Ito (Makito Ozu), and Yousuke Ichikawa (Hikaru).

The Tokyo International Film Festival began on October 31, 2020, and will end on November 9, 2020. The week-long event will feature a Super Sentai film screening with many alumni set to appear.
