This Week in Tokusatsu Merchandise 10/12/20 – 10/16/20

The tokusatsu merchandise roundup for this week in mid-October features new merchandise for Godzilla, Kamen Rider, Gekiranger, and Ultraman Z. 

To start off, Premium Bandai is releasing six new Acrylic Logo Display EX logo releases. These acrylic stands feature the possibilities of various displays, such as displaying with a single item such as a figure or displaying with a collection. Each comes with a pedestal.

The Acrylic Logo Display EX Godzilla VS King Ghidorah logo measures approximately a width of 103 mm x height of 53 mm. The pedestal measures about width of 114 mm × height of 22 mm.

The Acrylic Logo Display EX Godzilla VS Mechagodzilla logo measures approximately a width of 120 mm x height of 44 mm. The pedestal measures about width of 114 mm × height of 22 mm.

The Acrylic Logo Display EX Kamen Rider Zero-One ZAIA Enterprise logo measures approximately a width of 65 mm x height of 56 mm. The pedestal measures about width of 80 mm × height of 22 mm.

The Acrylic Logo Display EX Kamen Rider Zero-One A.I.M.S. SQUAD logo measures approximately a width 65 mm x height of 69 mm. The pedestal measures about width of 65 mm × height of 22 mm.

The Acrylic Logo Display EX Kamen Rider Blade logo measures approximately a width of 130 mm x height of 60 mm. The pedestal measures about width of 114 mm × height of 22 mm.

The Acrylic Logo Display EX Kamen Rider Tachibana Racing Club logo measures approximately a width of 65 mm x height of 56 mm. The pedestal measures about width of 65 mm × height of 56 mm.

All six Acrylic Logo Display EX logo releases will go for 1,320 Yen (tax included) each and are scheduled for shipment in December 2020. Preorders are being accepted until November 15, 2020, at 23:00 JST.

Moving along to the Kamen Rider series, we have the Kamen Rider Zero-One MetsubouJinrai.Net x PRINCIPE Watches skeleton watch. It is a skeleton type watch that allows you to see the movement inside the mechanical wristwatch on the board. The dial is designed with the symbol of MetsubouJinrai.Net from the TV series. The color is based on black, and the band is also unified with black genuine leather. Although it is chic, it has a strong presence and a unique design.

The watch comes with an original case and is a discerning automatic winding. The case size measures 41.5 mm / 13.8 mm and the rug width measures 20 mm. The case and buckle are made of stainless steel. The strap is made of leather. The glass is made of mineral glass and it is waterproof at 3 ATM. The watch weighs 80 g.

The Kamen Rider Zero-One MetsubouJinrai.Net x PRINCIPE Watches skeleton watch from Kamen Rider Zero-One will go for 24,200 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in February 2021. Preorders are being accepted until November 3, 2020, at 23:00 JST.

Premium Bandai is also releasing CHARA-MASK Kamen Rider Series face masks. Two sets of two adult 3D cloth masks inspired by the Kamen Rider Series is available in two designs: Kamen Rider Saber and Kamen Rider OOO. CHARA-MASK has a built-in special filter for masks, which has excellent antibacterial and deodorant effects. The inner material is 100% cotton gauze, which is soft to the touch. It is designed to fit your face with a comfortable three-dimensional structure that is easy to breathe and can be worn all the time. These masks use a log-type ear strap that is gentle on the ears. It can be used repeatedly by washing. In the manufacturing process, hygiene management is carried out because the company is a manufacturer specializing in masks. The outer fabric is made of 100% polyester and the inner gauze fabric is made of 100% cotton. The antibacterial deodorant built-in filter is made of 80% polyester and 20% acrylic (silver antibacterial agent: silver-supported acrylic fiber used). The ear hook uses elastic rubber. Each face mask measures approx. height of 120 mm × width of 90 mm (folded in half).

The Kamen Rider Saber face masks feature one design highlighting Kamen Rider Saber’s helmet design with his three colors (red, white, and grey) and the other featuring Kamen Rider Saber and Kamen Rider Blades’ symbols as well as the Sword of Logos symbol.

The Kamen Rider OOO were made to commemorate the 10th anniversary. One design highlights Kamen Rider OOO’s TaToBa combo chest armor with his three colors (red, yellow, and green) and the other features the Taka, Tora, and Bata Core Medals.

The CHARA-MASK Kamen Rider Series face masks from Kamen Rider Saber and Kamen Rider OOO will go for 1,650 Yen (tax included) each and are scheduled for shipment in February 2021. Preorders are being accepted starting October 16, 2020, at 13:00 JST until November 4, 2020, at 23:00 JST.

Entering the scene is the Super Sentai Series. Up first is the Juken Sentai Gekiranger SCRTC bag line. SCRTC is a sporting goods company headed by Miki Masaki. The company produces various sporting goods such as sportswear and paraphernalia. They support and house the Gekirangers. The Gekiranger’s are included in the Special Development Department of SCRTC. This bag line includes orange and green satchels, a multi-backpack, and a small business bag. Each bag features the SCRTC logo and symbol which can also be seen on the Gekiranger suits, arsenal, and Sena’s track outfit from Mashin Sentai Kiramager.

The orange and green satchels are made of synthetic leather and measure 23 cm vertically x 32 cm horizontally.

The multi-backpack is a business backpack that supports A4 files. The opening and closing of the backpack can be fully opened with one action. It is equipped with many convenient storage pockets such as the back pocket, side pockets for PET bottles, and PC pockets. The bag uses water repellent fabric. It is made of polyester and measures 23 cm vertically and 32 cm horizontally.

The small business bag is a thin 3WAY business backpack that supports A4 files and is ideal for commuting by train. It is equipped with many convenient pockets for sorting. The bag is made of nylon and measures 35 cm vertically x 27 cm horizontally and has a machi of 11 cm.

The Juken Sentai Gekiranger SCRTC satchel bags from Juken Sentai Gekiranger will go for 3,850 Yen (tax included) each while the multi-backpack will go for 14,300 Yen (tax included) and the small business bag will go for 13,200 Yen (tax included). All are scheduled for shipment in December 2020. Preorders are being accepted today.

Next is the Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger ring set (Lupin Red & Patren No. 1). The rings feature a silver Lupinranger ring with the Lupinranger symbol in the middle and a gold Patranger ring with the Patranger symbol. Each ring is made of silver925, Swarovski (R) crystal, and plating. Both come in sizes No. 9, No. 11, No. 13, and No. 15.

The Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger ring set (Lupin Red & Patren No. 1) from Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger will go for 11,000 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in December 2020. Preorders are being accepted until November 8, 2020, at 23:00 JST.

Going into the Ultra Series, we have the Ultraman Z wrist watch (Sevenger Model). The wristwatch features an image of Sevenger from Ultraman Z. Sevenger’s eyes and hour and minute hands glow in the dark. The case, back cover, crown, and band are made of stainless steel. The dial and hands are made of brass. The windshield is made of mineral glass and the machine used is the MIYOTA 6P25 (Quartz Made in Japan). The watch body measures a width of 42 mm x length of 49 mm x thickness of 11 mm. The band width measures 20 mm. The arm circumference adaptation size measures approximately 13.5-19.5 cm. It is daily life waterproof.

The Ultraman Z wrist watch (Sevenger Model) from Ultraman Z will go for 17,600 Yen (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in March 2021. Preorders are being accepted until November 8, 2020, at 23:00 JST.
