Toshihiko Seki Tests Positive For COVID-19
Toshihiko Seki, who provides the voice of Momotaros from Kamen Rider Den-O, has tested positive for COVID-19.
It has been confirmed that voice actor Toshihiko Seki has tested positive for COVID-19 via his talent agency 81 Produce. On July 31, Seki reported having feverish symptoms and was tested for the virus the next day at a hospital. The tests came back positive just a few days later on August 3. 81 Produce has stated that his condition is currently stable, but he was hospitalized the following day. The talent agency is currently working to track when and how Seki contracted the virus.
As a veteran voice actor who has lent his voice talents to numerous roles such as Duo Maxwell in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Senketsu in Kill la Kill, and Mousse in Ranma ½, fans of tokusatsu would recognize Seki as the voice of Momotaros, the fiery red Imagin partner Ryotaro Nogami in 2007’s Kamen Rider Den-O. Seki, along with fellow voice actors Koji Yusa (Urataros), Masaki Terasoma (Kintaros), and Kenichi Suzumura (Ryutaros) have consistently returned to reprise their Imagin characters in each appearance of Kamen Rider Den-O, including the upcoming Kamen Rider Den-O: Pretty Den-O Appears! movie.
