Summary of Zi-O SG Watcher: Vol.49
Bandai’s candy toy blog series for Kamen Rider Zi-O updates with the final reveal for SO-DO Kamen Rider Zi-O: RIDE 11, and a spoiler for episode 48 of the show.
The man currently in charge of candy toy development goes by G, and in honor of Zi-O, he is now going by the name Gi-O.
It’s at this point I will give a fair warning, the post ends with a teaser for future Zi-O releases, which releases to the latest episode (48).
The blog begins immediately with DecadeArmor: RyukiForm and FaizForm! These two are the final additions to SO-DO Kamen Rider Zi-O: RIDE 11.
DecadeArmor: RyukiForm is based around the Ryuki Survive form, and was featured in the Kamen Ride Ryuki spin-off. This is making me once again appreciate the fact that they had to make 50% of a Ryuki Survive figure in SO-DO.
Gi-O seems particularly proud of being able to get a shade of gold that matches the original suit.

And then we have closeups on DecadeArmor: FaizForm, arguably the most interesting one here.
This is not from the show, a movie or a spin-off – it is a medal from the Buttobasoul arcade game, making this a rarity in which SO-DO makes a figure for a video game exclusive form. You may be thinking back to SO-DO Kamen Rider Build‘s Game/Doctor combination – that was something that appeared briefly in the movie and happens to also be in the Ganbarizing arcade game. It’s a weird thing. I would count FaizForm as the “first” game exclusive form to receive a toy.

With these two forms, the DecadeArmor series is complete! At least of the ones that happened officially.
With that, the final additions to RIDE 11 are out there. The DecadeArmor set comes with the Ohma Advent History book held by Woz.
Those who want to display both of these forms will need to have two DecadeArmor sets, as the box set only comes with one.
…
So, now comes the spoiler.
No turning back.
You ready?
TSUKUYOMIII!
Yes! As of episode 48, Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi is a thing. The blog provides this blurry CGI model to confirm that they’re aware and are working on it.
This is also where Gi-O reiterates the promise of SO-DO Kamen Rider Zi-O: Even if it takes some time, any and every form that appeared in Zi-O will be made into a figure. He adds Tsukuyomi to his little list with Zi-O’s Ohma Form, and the three movie Riders.
Something entirely new is the confirmation that these 5 figures will actually be part of SO-DO Kamen Rider Zero-One, with waves that carry the feat. Kamen Rider Zi-O suffix. This is based on previous SO-DO lines having addendum pieces for the previous series. Gi-O explains that they examined their options and this seemed to be the best way to get these figures to fans.
More importantly, good news for SO-DO collectors… there will be no end-of-series Premium Bandai set! In previous years, these provided some odds and ends to complete the collection. This is further confirming that all of the main content for SO-DO Kamen Rider Zi-O will be retail.
With that, the final update to Zi-O SG Watcher will happen on August 25th.
