From the archive of Bandai’s candy toy blog series for Kamen Rider Zi-O, with the rest of SO-DO Gaiden Kamen Rider Zi-O: ANOTHER 1.

The man currently in charge of candy toy development goes by G, and in honor of Zi-O, he is now going by the name Gi-O.

Finishing off the coverage for SO-DO Gaiden Kamen Rider Zi-O: ANOTHER 1, this post focuses on Another Build and Another Ex-Aid.

Much like what was discussed in the previous post, the heads are fully painted.

Gi-O makes a point of mentioning that the strands of “hair” on Another Ex-Aid are also made of soft plastic, so that they don’t break or get in the way of articulation.

Like with Another Faiz, both Another Build and Another Ex-Aid have proper closed fists without pegholes.

Last on the reiterated features of this wave, Gi-O comments on how an effort was made to reduce the amount of sticker work. Unfortunately, since Another Ex-Aid sports many colors, this was not as doable in his case. Gi-O hopes that everyone can forgive him for that one.

A new feature to introduce is the additional range in Another Ex-Aid’s ankles. By adding a slightly deeper notch, the ankles have a more natural looking bend. He does add, however, that too big of a notch makes it so the ankle pops off more easily. and he also remarks that there were concerns about the durability of the foot when making this change. For that reason, he says to be careful with it.
