Summary of Zi-O SG Watcher: Vol.22

Shortly before its release, Di-O reitterates the contents of SO-DO Kamen Rider Zi-O: RIDE 5. This wave contains DecadeArmor, WizardArmor, GaimArmor, and a new Armor Changing body for Geiz which features more accurate colors – no armor is included in the wave to go with this figure.

“FutureTime: The amazing, the epoch, the future! Kamen Rider Woz-Woz!”

RIDE 6 reveals conclude on this blog post as Di-O reveals Kamen Rider Woz, the third Rider of the series.

Compared to the analogue clock motif of Zi-O and the digital clock motif of Geiz, Woz sports a watch motif that feels appropriately futuristic.

Much like Zi-O and Geiz, the figure makes use of a Cross Armor Set and Action Body Set, and has the same type of hands available to him.

Included with Woz’s default form is the Zikan Despear in its spear mode. In a change of pace with the weapons thus far, this weapon is presented in two parts that peg onto the top and bottom of the fist, allowing Woz to hold it more properly.

“FutureTime: Fashion, passion, questions! FutureRing Quiz-Quiz!”

Also included in this wave is the FutureRing Quiz form, which has just debuted in the show.

Woz’s form changes work a bit differently from Zi-O and Geiz – the watch strap running down the torso changes with each form, which led to some complications when figuring out how to make it work with the figures. The ideas they considered would have left it looking too bulky.

Ultimately, the decision was made to have all parts of the strap be swappable, so the part below the belt is removable. This also means that the BeyonDriver included with the Action Body is the same across all forms, not an alternate version that’s swapped in.

The shoulder armor for Woz is also different from the others, so there are panels that peg onto it, rather than something attached on a hinge.

Also, the wave features only one body, so those interested in displaying these forms together will need to get an extra.

FutureRing Quiz comes with alternate versions of the shoulder panels, which sport the O and X symbols associated with Kamen Rider Quiz’s powers.

Also included with FutureRing Quiz is Woz’s Zikan Despear in its cane mode, which is designed in the same way as the spear, with two separate parts. Di-O jokes about how if you use your imagination, you can use both of the bottom end parts to make an extra long spear.

With that, RIDE 6 has been fully revealed: Kamen Rider Woz, FutureRing Quiz, WArmor, AgitoArmor, HibikiArmor, and Build’s RabbitDragon Form. The wave is slated for a February release.

Di-O ends by saying that they can now start introducing RIDE 7, and that the next blog update will be on February 1st.
