Live Action Gundam Film in the Works

Sunrise has announced that a live action film based on Gundam is currently in the works.

Anime News Network reports that the Sunrise president/CEO, Yasuo Miyakawa, revealed plans for a live action Gundam film at Anime Expo. They shared a teaser video, image, and confirmation that co-production with Legendary Pictures has begun. Also at the event was Legendary’s executive vice-president of production, Cale Boyter, and Bandai Namco holdings president/representative director, Mitsuaki.
