Two new teams fight for their own reasons to stop an interdimensional crime group in the debut episode of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger, The Troublemaking Phantom Thief.

Kairi Yano, Tooma Yoimachi, and Umika Hayami are the Phantom Thief Sentai Lupinrangers who fight the Interdimensional Crime Group Gangler in order to take back the treasures of the mysterious “Lupin Collection” as collected by the great thief Arsène Lupin. Their next target is the serial jewel thief Garatt Nargo who burns stores to the ground after stealing their jewels for his collection. Meanwhile, International Special Police’s Keiichiro Asaka, Sayuki Hikawa, and Tsukasa Myoujin bear the duty protect people from Gangler and confiscate the items in the Lupin Collection, but the Lupinrangers always get in their way.
