Super Mini-Pla Megazord and Dragonzord To Be Released By Bluefin
Bandai’s popular Super Mini-Pla Daizyujin and Dragon Caesar are making their way to the west via Bluefin under the Power Rangers brand.
The success of both kits in Japan caused them to be relatively hard to preorder, let alone finding a set decently priced on the aftermarket. While the kits are being reissued in March 2018, fans in the west will be able to pick up the Super Mini-Pla entries this holiday season under the Power Rangers brand. Super Mini-Pla kits contain pre-colored parts and require fewer stickers for minor details than the normal Mini-Pla series releases.
The Super Mini-Pla Megazord will retail for $60 and includes all necessary pieces to build the Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Triceratops, Sabertooth Tiger, and Pterodactyl Dino Zords, as well as a Power Sword accessory. Each Dinozord can transform and combine to form both the Tank Mode and Megazord Mode formations.
The Super Mini-Pla Dragonzord will retail for $45 and includes all necessary pieces to build the Dragonzord. The Dragonzord can then be combined with the Mastodon, Triceratops, and Sabertooth Tiger to form the Dragonzord Fighting Mode. It can further be combined with the Megazord itself to form the Mega Dragonzord.
The upcoming Super Mini-Pla King Brachion will also be sold via Bluefin as Titanus and will retail for $150 in the Spring of 2018. Titanus will feature a large motorized base much like the original DX toy.
The kits will be sold at authorized Bluefin retailers such as Barnes & Noble and can also be purchased directly from Bluefin upon release from their online shop.
