Kamen Rider W’s Masaki Suda to Star in My Little Monster Live-Action Film
The live-action film for the hit manga, My Little Monster, casts Masaki Suda.
Masaki Suda, known for portraying Philip in Kamen Rider W, announced he will be playing Haru Yoshida, the male protagonist. Alongside Masaki, Tao Tsuchiya has been cast as Shizuku Mizutani, the female protagonist.
My Little Monster centers around Mizutani, an over-achiever obsessed with attaining high grades, and Haru, a short-tempered person who scares everyone with his outbursts. On the first day of school, Haru gets suspended and Mizutani is assigned to delivering school materials to him. Haru sees this as a sign of friendship and gets attached to Mizutani, which begins a strange relationship between them.
TOHO will produce and distribute the film with director Shō Tsukikawa (live-action Kimi no Suizō o Tabetai, Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai) set to helm the project. My Little Monster is slated with a release date of 2018.
