Legion M to Host Colossal Fan Meetups Across US

Legion M announced via press release that they will be hosting fan meetups all across the United States to promote their partnered film, Colossal.

Legion M is celebrating the release of Colossal by hosting fan meetups across the country between April 14th and 21st. This news comes after Legion M held events in Los Angeles and New York which included screenings and Q&A sessions. “The world’s first fan-owned entertainment company” will use these events to show the power of their community. Meetups will be happening all over the United States from Georgia to Washington. Legion M is a media company with a mission to bring one million fans together to produce film, television and virtual reality projects. The company was formed in 2016 by Paul Scanlan and Jeff Annison. Last August, Legion M raised over $1.2 million in a crowd-funding campaign. Team TokuNet had the opportunity to interview Legion M around that time.

Colossal follows the story of Gloria (Anne Hathaway) who discovers a strange connection between a kaiju attacking South Korea and herself after she is kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend and left out-of-work. The film is out now in U.S. movie theaters and was directed by Nacho Vigalondo.
