Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger’s Daizyujin Added to Super Robot Wars X-Ω

Popular smartphone game Super Robot Wars X-Ω adds Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger‘s Daizyujin for a limited-time event alongside marketing campaign.

The official website for Super Robot Wars X-Ω, a smartphone game launched in October 2015 by Bandai Namco Entertainment, recently announced the addition of Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger’s Daizyujin for a limited-time in-game event in May.

Alongside this event, Super Robot Wars X-Ω’s official Twitter account is holding a special campaign from April 26th to May 26th. This campaign is for a Soul of Chogokin Daizyujin toy, which goes on sale April 29th and is eligible only to those who follow the account and retweet the campaign’s tweet.

Previously, Super Robot Wars X-Ω held limited-time events for Godzilla. Godzilla and Kiryu (from Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (2002)) were added into the game for a limited-time. A Eva-01-themed Kiryu with Shinji Ikari (protagonist of Neon Genesis Evangelion) as the pilot was also added into the game for a Godzilla vs Evangelion limited-time event.

Daizyujin’s addition marks the first time that a mecha from the Super Sentai franchise has made it into the Super Robot Wars franchise. However, this is not the first time that a tokusatsu franchise has been involved with Banpresto, Super Robot Wars’ creator, and Bandai Namco due to games such as the Compati Hero Series, All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation, and Super Hero Generation.
