Premium Bandai Annouces S.H. MonsterArts Mothra Special Color Version Set

Premium Bandai‘s official website announced the S.H.MonsterArts Mothra (Adult) & Mothra (Larvae) Special Color Version set for release in August, 2017.

The set includes main bodies for both the adult and larvae version of Mothra redone in a new color scheme than the previously released S.H.MonsterArts Mothra releases. In the past, S.H.MonsterArts Mothra (Adult) was released via Tamashii Web Shop in April, 2014 while the S.H.MonsterArts Mothra (Larvae) was released in a pack with Butler (Larvae) via Tamashii Web Shop in June, 2014. The adult version of Mothra features a night time paint scheme, whilst the larvae version of Mothra now has a “wet” look based off scenes from Godzilla vs. Mothra.

The two-pack includes a flight base Tamashii Stage and antenna beam effect parts for the adult version of Mothra. The Mothra bodies are also listed to have a full width of about 350 mm for the adult version of Mothra, and a total length of about 170 mm for the larvae version of Mothra.

The S.H.MonsterArts Mothra (Adult) & Mothra (Larvae) Special Color Ver. set is priced at ¥10,800 (tax included), with a release date of August 2017. Pre-orders have already begun and will conclude at an announced date.
