iam8bit Holds “May The Power Protect You” Power Rangers Monsters Art Tribute Show
Creative production company, iam8bit, holds an official Power Rangers art tribute show in anticipation for the upcoming Power Rangers film opening later in March.
iam8bit, a production company best known for its limited edition pop culture themed merchandise, opened its *May the Power Protect You: A Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Monsters Show” on Saturday, March 18th at its Los Angeles, CA location.
The officially licensed show boasted over 30 artists paying tribute to the monsters and evil-doers of the iconic television series. Artists included Goñi Montes, best known for the popular helmet variants for the BOOM! Studios Power Rangers comic and previous TokuNet Artist Feature; Nan Lawson, Gerald de Jesus, James Gilleard, and Tracy Tubera.
The show was free to the public and had available bar and other refreshments, along with a projector screening classic episodes of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
At the front of their Los Angeles, CA location, attendees and fans were welcome to purchase iam8bit’s officially licensed Power Rangers merchandise previously announced back in November 2016. The merchandise included enamel pins, coloring books, pencils, and a pre-order for the special remastered single LP vinyl. The cover artwork for the vinyl, created by JC Richard, was also available as a screenprint and featured in the tribute show.
The *May the Power Protect You show will continue to be on display until March 26th. The iam8bit Los Angeles location is at 2147 W. Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, 90026.
