Familiar Faces Return For Chou Super Hero Taisen
Toei tokusatsu alumni return to their roles for upcoming Chou Super Hero Taisen film.
The trends of Toei’s tokusatsu movies has been to cast several generations of heroes from recent years. This work, Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Chou Super Hero Taisen is no exception, and several familiar faces are appearing.
The returning cast members include:
- Shuichi Kitaoka/Kamen Rider Zolda (portrayed by Ryohei Odai), of the Kamen Rider Ryuki series
- Momotaros/Kamen Rider Den-O (portrayed by Toshihiko Seki)
- Yakumo “Cloud” Katou/Aoninger (portrayed by Gaku Matsumoto) of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger
- Masato Jin/Beet Buster (portrayed by Hiroya Matsumoto) from Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters
These four will join Emu Hojo/Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (portrayed by Hiroki Ijima) and form “Team Ex-Aid” in the film.
Additionally, Utsusemimaru/Kyoryu Gold (portrayed by Atsushi Maruyama), the sixth Ranger of the Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger series will also appear in the film.
In Chou Superhero Taisen, the “Game World” launches an attack on the real world. The Arena of Death appears in front of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and the Uchu Sentai Kyurangers, where the fate of the world will be decided. Trapped in this inescapable dimension, generations of Super Sentai and Kamen Riders must engage in a battle royale.
Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Chou Superhero Taisen releases March 25, 2017 nationwide in Japan.
