New Toho Kaiju Coming To Gashapon Machines in October

A new set of Toho kaiju will be coming to Japanese gashapon, or vending machine capsule toys, in October.

In a tweet published by the tokusatsu division of Bandai gashapon, the series will be called Sumi-e Swing. Each kaiju figure is sculpted to reflect a traditional ink wash painting style (sumi-e, 墨絵). The designs include MechaGodzilla and the newest addition, Shin Godzilla.

There will be 10 different designs, each costing 200 yen, and will be released in October 2016.
