Kamen Rider Ghost and Ultraman Orb to Crossover
This year’s Ultraman and Kamen Rider to crossover for the first time in 23 years.
Earlier this year, Tsuburaya revealed the name of 2016’s entry in the Ultra Series, Ultraman Orb. After some extensive research and investigation, and continually stalking Tsuburaya’s HQ, TokuNet found some official documents revealing that Orb’s first arc would be a four-part crossover with Kamen Rider Ghost.
As is common with crossovers, the two heroes will be enemies at first before teaming up. Below is an image from Orb’s first episode, which brings in guest writer Tony Isabella and guest director George Tuska.
According to a script we may or may not have found in a dumpster, the crossover will reveal that Tenkuji Takeru’s life up to that point was all an illusion, and that when he died he forgot about his former life as a stuntman in a travelling circus who made a deal with Mephisto in exchange for some ultra-rare Eyecons.
Ultraman Orb was Takeru’s rival stuntman, and steals one of the Eyecons to transform into an alien policeman who was also a former stuntman. They ride motorcycles for two hours before defeating Mephisto with the Grateful-Slugger.
You didn’t hear this from me.
