Kaiju Girls Getting Their Own Anime

Kaiju girls from the Ultra Monster Anthropomorphic Project will star in their own anime later this year.

Tsuburaya’s Ultra Monster Anthropomorphic Project is a multimedia endeavor that re-imagines iconic kaiju from the Ultra Series as cute girls. The characters have previously starred a light novel, photobook, and Drama CD, and have been turned into statues and other various forms of merchandise.

The latest entry in the project is the tentatively titled Kaiju Girls short-form anime, which will be released digitally through d Anime Store this Fall.
