Gen Urobuchi and Kazuki Nakashima to Co-Write Concrete Revolutio’s Second Season
The head writers of Kamen Rider Gaim and Kamen Rider Fourze will write the second season of the tokusatsu-inspired anime, Concrete Revolutio.
Recently, it was announced that Gen Urobuchi (Psycho Pass, Kamen Rider Gaim) and Kazuki Nakashima (Kill la Kill, Kamen Rider Fourze) would join veteran anime writer Masaki Tsuji (Cyborg 009, Cutie Honey) to write Concrete Revolutio’s second season, which premieres in April. The show will be streamed by both Daisuki and Funimation.
Concrete Revolutio is an anime from BONES about a world crowded with every type of superhuman and supernatural creature, and the Superhuman Bureau in charge of keeping track of them during the political turmoil that affected postwar Japan. The characters are all references to anime and tokusatsu from the 60’s and 70’s, including Cyborg 009, Ultraman, and Robo Keiji K.
Sho Aikawa (Kamen Rider Blade, GoGo Sentai Boukenger) wrote the first season with Tsuji, and remains in charge of Series Composition. Aikawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist collaborator, Seiji Mizushima, directs.
