Past ‘Kamen Rider’ Series Actors Cast in Live-Action “Mr. Nietzsche in The Convenience Store”
Three past Kamen Rider actors have been cast in the new live-action TV show Mr. Nietzsche in The Convenience Store.
The show is an adaption of the popular manga of the same name about a part-time male convenience store worker named Matsukoma. The show will follow Matsukoma and Tomoharu Nii.
Kenji Urai, who played N-Daguba-Zeba in Kamen Rider Kuuga, will play Matsukoma who helps train new worker Nietzsche (played by Shotaro Mamiya).
Rio Uchida, who played Kiriko Shijima in Kamen Rider Drive, will play Moe Tachizaki, an “idol-like part-timer.”
Ryo Matsuda, who played Kamen Rider Gridon in Kamen Rider Gaim, will portray Ken Shibata, the “puppy-like part-timer.”
The series will air on Yomiuri TV, NTV, and Hulu in Japan starting in January 2016.
