Orchestra Ensemble to Perform Sailor Moon in Los Angeles
The chamber ensemble, IconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra, brings their Sailor Moon Symphony: SERASYMPHONY to Los Angeles, California on Sunday, July 5th, coinciding with Anime Expo 2015.
After a successful sold-out premiere performance during New York Comic Con 2014 weekend, the fan-based chamber ensemble is currently running a Kickstarter campaign with a $7,500 goal. Perks for the campaign include: special concert programs, digital downloads of the concerts, and pre-purchased seats.
The goal of the crowd-funding campaign is to have an extended concert that will include new arrangements of Heart Moving, La Soldier, and Moon Revenge as well as a special guest appearance by original American Sailor Moon singing voice, Jennifer Cihi.
Tickets go on sale for SERASYMPHONY on May 1st.
Artist director and conductor, Bobbie Lee Crow III, started the New York-based “iconiQuestra” in 2011 that pays tribute to the music from anime and video games.
