Kamen Riders Gaim and Drive Guest on Promotional Show

Kamen Rider Gaim‘s, Gaku Sano (Kota Kazuraba) and Kamen Rider Drive‘s, Takeuchi Ryouma (Shinnosuke) get together for the promotion of the Suzuki Swift. 

The two actors start their journey by going to the Bonfirm Football Park, where they each made 10 soccer goals. From there, they drove to a restaurant called Gyunabe Iron where they ate gyunabe, which they declared to be “Delicious!”

Sano tells the story of when he first found out he got the part of Kamen Rider Gaim:

I was walking through Ginza when I got the call to tell me that I had been chosen to be the next Rider, and right there, in fromt of everyone, I just inadvertently blurted out “YES!” When my parents told me I’d been selected, they sent pictures of me as a kid shaking hands with Kamen Rider Kuuga when I went to see a stage show. It was something.

Ryouma also recounts his experience in finding out his role in Kamen Rider Drive: 

My uncle was a huge fan of Kamen Rider from the very beginning. When I called him to tell him I’d gotten the part, he cried in happiness.

Sano also gives his well wishes to Ryouma saying, “I was thinking that you’re in the same situation now as I was a year ago…good luck!”

The promotional show will air September 20  in Japan.
