Kamen Rider Gaim Summer Movie Writer and Director Announced

Gaku Matsuda (Zack/Kamen Rider Knuckle) has confirmed his participation on the Kamen Rider Gaim summer movie through his official blog on May 7th.

In addition to his own participation, he also revealed that the movie is being directed by Osamu Kaneda (Let’s Go Kamen Riders, Gavan The Movie) and penned by Jin Haganeya.

Haganeya, as well as Gaim’s head writer, Gen Urobuchi belong to nitro+ (the latter being part of its board of directors), a software developing company mostly known for their visual novels and adult content games. Hanegaya is known best for his work on the Cthulu Mythos-infused visual novel, Demonbane. 

The yet to be titled movie will have a soccer theme and include the participation of the J League and retired player Masashi “Gon” Nakayama.

The Kamen Rider Gaim summer movie premieres as a double billing with ToQGer’s film on July 19th.
