Seizou Katou, Voice Of General Jark, Has Passed Away

Today it has been reported that Seizou Katou, the voice of various tokusatsu and anime characters, has passed away.

His talent agency reported earlier today that at 11:40am on 17th January, passed away after battling with bladder cancer in Itabashi hospital, Tokyo. He was 86 years old.

Seizou Katou is known for his tokusatsu roles such as General Jark in Kamen Rider Black RX, Earth Emperor Zeba in Hikari Sentai Maskman and Great Satan in Kyoryuu Sentai Zyuranger. His notable anime roles were Ittetsu Hoshi in Star of the Giants, Megatron/Galvatron in Transformers and Barcom in Fist of the North Star.
