Mostly Speakin’ Sentai #70: “Trolled By My Grandma! (A Mechagodzilla Double Feature)”

James and Nicole take a short Super Sentai hiatus to watch Godzilla movies, starting with Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla!

Although canceled this year, Nicole & James honor G-Fest (the annual Chicago based Godzilla/tokusatsu convention) by watching Godzilla movies every July! So, please join them for a two week detour from Super Sentai as we watch a Mechagodzilla double first! This week, they start off with 1974’s “Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla“! On top of talkin’ about thick necked robots, they discuss Bio Hunter, unhealthy anime, trolling grandmas, starting the record late, Nicole forgetting what James says, ways to relieve stress, Digital Underground, Gundam video games, being trapped in the woods, ASL, mystery Amazon packages from It Takes 2 To Toku, missing G-Fest, why the Simians went through the effort to cover MechaGodzilla in flesh, VHS releases of the movie, our ideal homes, I Kill Giants, leaky roofs, editing podcasts, Godzilla deniers, Captain Underpants, working at a comic shop, scooting without health insurance, Matrix men with cigarettes, JAMES FORGOT ABOUT EBIRAH AND SON OF GODZILLA DON’T @ HIM, magnets, weaponizing femininity, recording loud podcasts, G-Fest illnesses, acting 101, the movie/book Holes, children rapping, why our heroes changed to the aliens uniforms, & more!
