Robert Axelrod, the voice behind Power Rangers’ Lord Zedd, has passed away at the age of 70.
It’s been reported that Robert Axelrod passed away yesterday. Robert Axelrod is known for having provided the voices of both Lord Zedd and Finster in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Axelrod’s agent from Mobile Monicker posted to Twitter from his account to make the announcement.

Barbara Goodson, the voice of Rita Repulsa alongside Axelrod in Power Rangers through the 1990’s, also took to Facebook to confirm the report.
Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver in Power Rangers, also alongside Axelrod) made a post on Instagram to pay tribute to Axelrod’s legacy.
Recently, Team TokuNet reported on Robert Axelrod’s GoFundMe campaign to fund medical treatment in the aftermath of a back surgery from a year prior. In August, Axelrod posted to Twitter to show support for fans and reference his run as Lord Zedd. Robert Axelrod died at age 70.
