Kamen Rider Ex-Aid’s Tetsuya Iwanaga Interviews Hollywood Stars

Tetsuya Iwanaga who, played Kuroto Dan in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, recently went to Hollywood and interviewed stars.

Recently, Tetsuya Iwanaga famous for playing the insane Kamen Rider Genm/Kuroto Dan on Kamen Rider Ex-Aid took a trip to Hollywood for the first time and appeared on Sekai Fushigi Hakken (Mysterious Discoveries Around The World on TBS). Most notably, Iwanaga conducted interviews with famous stars on his own without the aid of an interpreter.

Iwanaga interviewed Leonardo Dicaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Quentin Tarantino. With only eight minutes per interview, Iwanaga decided to conduct the interviews himself using his self taught English-speaking skill. Iwanaga felt there was “no time to waste.” The program’s producer said, “This is only something Iwanaga could do.” While Iwanaga was not nervous, he tried to speak quickly as he felt there was too much he wanted to ask.

At the end of each interview, Iwanaga presented his subjects with figures of the self-proclaimed god, Kuroto Dan. Iwanaga had only ten days in Hollywood during which he traveled around the “holy land of filming.” He visited locations such as the Chinese Theater.

Tetsuya Iwanaga recently returned to Kamen Rider, reprising his role as Kuroto Dan in Kamen Rider Zi-O as the holder of the Time Jackers’ OOO RideWatch. Mysterious Discoveries Around The World airs every Saturday at 9 PM on TBS.
