Super Sentai Strongest Battle!! to Release on Home Video

The TV mini-series will now be seeing a DVD and Blu-ray release in July. 

Super Sentai Strongest Battle!! was a four part mini-series that aired after Lupinranger vs Patranger, serving as the last Super Sentai crossover of the Heisei era, and featuring a cameo by the previously unseen Ryusoulger team.

The story begins when a mysterious girl named Rita gathers heroes from Super Sentai teams to the planet Nemesis. The heroes are told that any wish they desire will come true if they can win the “Super Sentai Strongest Battle” tournament. In addition to the five heroes mentioned, any number of others can appear.

The Blu-ray release will include a bonus disc with a director’s cut of the mini-series, where the four episodes are combined to form one movie, with an unaired cut. A screening event will be held on June 15th.
