Premium Bandai Announces Ultimate Article Monsters: King Dark Set

Premium Bandai announced the next installment in their Ultimate Article Monsters line, the King Dark Set from Kamen Rider X. 

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Kamen Rider X, the set features King Dark, a giant robot who served as the figurehead of the Government of Darkness. The set also features the monsters: Ghenghis Khan-Condor, Toad Goemon, Kabuto Beetle-Lupin, and Scorpion-Geronimo.

This huge figure is laid down, and the figure giving mysterious commands is reproduced with the built-in LED light emission gimmick. There are two switches that function: switch one lights up the eyes and switch two slowly flashes the light.

The figure set comes with a 23 x 29 cm statue of King Dark as well as mini-figures of four Government of Darkness villains: Genghis Khan-Condor, Toad Goemon, Kabuto Beetle-Lupin, and Scorpion-Geronimo, who were all led as subordinates when they made their first appearance. This figure set further enhances the charisma of King Dark. A dedicated pedestal is also included but the figure requires three AAA batteries (sold separately).

The Ultimate Article Monsters King Dark set from Kamen Rider X will go for ¥32,780 (tax included) and is scheduled for shipment in October 2019. Preorders are being accepted starting April 26, 2019, at 13:00 JST.
