Kickstarter of Tokusatsu Film Music Concert Kaiju Crescendo Opens

After a three year hiatus, Kaiju Crescendo brings tokusatsu film music back to Chicago with the launch of a Kickstarter campaign.

The Kickstarter campaign for the concert, which has been held before in 2014 and 2015, has been opened with pledge rewards that include CDs, T-Shirts, and art prints.

The composer for Godzilla series movies. Michiru Oshima, will work with the concert conductor John DeSentis to bring select pieces from Godzilla vs. Megaguiras, Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, and Godzilla: Tokyo SOS to the concert. In addition, Michiru will be introducing a brand new song debuting exclusively for the concert. Kickstarter pledges may also leave messages for her on the campaign page to help decide which pieces of music they would most like to hear at the concert.

The Kickstarter campaign ends Friday, April 19.
