Live-Action RikeKoi Film Adds Several Tokusatsu Alumni

Adaptation of romance manga starring Shun Nishime adds tokusatsu alumni cast members.

Earlier this week, three new cast members were announced for the film continuation of the series Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shōmei Shite Mita (Science Majors Fell In Love, So I Tried To Prove It), or RikeKoi for short. The three new cast members include Dori Sakurada (Kamen Rider Den-O), Yusuke Sato, and Tsukushi Suzuki.

The series, which began its four episode run in September, stars Shun Nishime (Kamen Rider Ghost) and Nana Asakawa.  The returning cast from the series includes Yuka Yano (Shuriken Sentai Ninninger), Karin Ogino (Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger), and Tomu Fujita (Kamen Rider Amazons).

The plot of the original manga by Alifred Yamamoto centers around two scientists in love who are trying to prove that love itself is able to be scientifically provable. The movie is set to hit theaters in Japan on February 1, 2019.
