Toei Heroine Max Magazine to be Revived

Toei has announced the revival of the spin-off magazine after nine years.

Toei Heroine Max will be revived as Toei Heroine Max Neo, according to Toei. This comes nine years after the end of the original magazine, which was a spin-off of Toei Hero Max, a magazine focused on tokusatsu in general. Toei Heroine Max Neo will focus on female characters and appeal to female viewers of Toei’s tokusatsu shows.

The first issue will feature Kaito Sentai Lupinranger vs Keisatsu Sentai Patranger (Thief Sentai Lupinranger vs Police Sentai Patranger)’s Haruka Kudo and Kazusa Okuyama in costume as their characters, Umika Hayami, Lupin Yellow, and Tsukasa Myojin, Patren#3.

The first issue will feature 32 pages of solo interviews and folding pinup posters. Interviews include Kamen Rider Build‘s Kaho Takada and Yukari Taki, and Rena Matsui from Kamen Rider Build: Be the One. There will also be a three-way interview with Rina Aizawa, Yumi Sugimoto, and Nao Oikawa from Engine Sentai Go-Onger: 10 YEARS GRAND PRIX. A special “Toei Heroine Legend” feature will focus on Ninja Sentai Kakuranger‘s Satomi Hirose, who portrayed Tsuruhime, Ninja White in the series. There will also be interviews with suit actresses Mizuho Nogawa, Ryoko Gomi, and Ayumi Shimozono
