Rurouni Kenshin Stage Play with Tokusatsu Alumni Release New Video

Individual character videos have been released for the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin stage play.


After the press conference that revealed the cast in full costume last month, the official Rurouni Kenshin stage play website has posted new videos showcasing its main cast. The stage play is based off of the action manga of the same name by Nobuhiro Watsuki.

The stage play features two prominent actors who have been in previous tokusatsu works. They include Ryosuke Miura, known for playing Ankh in Kamen Rider OOO, and Mitsuru Matsuoaka, who played Kamen Rider Eternal in Kamen Rider W and also sang various themes for Kamen Rider Drive.

Ryosuke Miura will portray Aoshi Shinomori:

Mitsuru Matsuoaka will portray Sozaburo Kanou:

A new visual was also revealed featuring Seina Sagiri as Kenshin Himura.

The stage play is set to be performed at Shinbashi Enbujo in Tokyo from October 10 to November 7 and then will move to Osaka Shochikuza in Osaka from November 15 to 24. General ticket sales will begin on July 28.
