The Final Battle of Power Rangers SHATTERED GRID Begins July 2018

Boom! Studios have released more tantalizing details about the penultimate chapters of Power Rangers SHATTERED GRID.

BOOM! Studios has announced new details about the final chapters of the SHATTERED GRID event, including new covers and hints at just how the Rangers are faring against Lord Drakkon and the Ranger Slayer. It will be everything Ranger fans have been hoping for in July as Power Rangers from across space and time band together to fight the Ultimate Battle.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #29 will see the Mighty Morphin Rangers and their allies, including some new mystery additions, preparing for the final battle with Lord Drakkon, as Zordon attempts to send out one last call for help. This issue will be by writer Kyle Higgins and artist Daniele Di Nicuolo, with the main cover by Jamal Campbell (Green Arrow) and variants by Jordan Gibson (America) and Carlos Villa (Lockjaw).

Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers #11 focuses on Kimberly as she readies herself to face The Ranger Slayer on her own and Matt as he risks life and death to get in contact with the Rangers. This issue will be by writer Ryan Parrott and artist Dan Mora, with the main cover by Dan Mora and variants by Miguel Mercado (Over The Garden Wall), Audrey Mok (Archie) and Natacha Bustos (Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur).

It’s the penultimate month of POWER RANGERS: SHATTERED GRID and we’re pulling out all the stops as the biggest Power Ranger battle you’ve ever seen in comics begins here,” said Dafna Pleban, Editor, BOOM! Studios. “While that battle rages on, we’ll see Kimberly literally confronting a dark version of herself in the Ranger Slayer – and that is going to end in a way no one can guess!

SHATTERED GRID is the BOOM! Studio’s event for the 25th anniversary of Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It includes both of BOOM! Studio’s MMPR era based comics crossing over with Power Ranger teams from throughout the shows entire history as they combat comic original villains Lord Drakkon and the Ranger Slayer.
