Tsunenori Aoki, known for his role as Ryoma Sengoku in Kamen Rider Gaim, was arrested in early April 2018 for indecent assault and subsequently released from his contract with his agency DOLCESTAR.

It is being reported that on March 4th, 2018 at 1:30 AM JST in Setagaya, an intoxicated Tsunenori Aoki approached an unknown woman in her 30s from behind and grabbed her chest. The woman stated that her neck was “lightly injured”. She contacted the local police, but Aoki had fled the scene. He was later identified by items that he had dropped nearby. On April 5th, Aoki was arrested for indecent assault and was released from the Setagaya police station on April 6th.

DOLCESTAR, the agency that manages Tsunenori Aoki, announced on April 6th that his contract with the agency had been terminated on March 31st and that he had left the company through mutual agreement.

Minutes after DOLCESTAR made their announcement, a Twitter account with the handle @aoki_staff announced a stage play that Aoki would be appearing in, called Baseball Homerun of Contrail, set to open on July 27th, 2018. The account has since been deleted. He is also set to star in the movie STRAY DOGZ 8, releasing in theaters on May 19th.
