Premium Bandai Announces 2nd Kamen Rider OOO Themed Buttobasoul Medal Set

Premium Bandai announced a second Kamen Rider OOO themed Buttobasoul Medal Set, this time based on the five new Combos from the Complete Selection Modification OOO Driver Complete Set.

Kamen Rider Buttobasoul is a new Kamen Rider themed arcade game released last year that uses small circular medals that became the “Energy Items” seen in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. Earlier this year, Premium Bandai announced a Buttobasoul Medal Set themed around Kamen Rider OOO, featuring Character Medals featuring Kamen Rider OOO and his various in-show Combos. Alongside them were Energy Item Medals designed to look like the Core Medals from the series.

This second Kamen Rider OOO themed Buttobasoul Medal set focuses on the five new Combos revealed with the CSM OOO Driver Complete Set: BiKaSo, ShiGazeShi, MukaChiRi, SaiShiroGin, and SaRaMiuo. The set features five total character medals, one for each of these new Combos. Alongside each Character Medal is an Energy Item Medal designed for the associating Core Medals. These include Ebi, Kani, Sasori, Shika, Gazelle, Ushi, Mukade, Hachi, Ari, Saiuchi, Shirokuma, Penguin, Same, Kujira, and Ookamiuo. Also included is the Energy Item Medal for Yadokari, another Core Medal, as well as Energy Item Medals for Cobra, Kame, and Wani, the Core Medals of the BuraKaWani Combo. Also included as an added bonus are the black versions of the Ebi, Kani, and Sasori Energy Item Medals. Each Character Medal includes a metallic base, while each Energy Item Medal is diecast.

The Medals come packed in a Buttobasoul Medal Holder, which is a repurposed mold from the original DX O-Medal Holder from Kamen Rider OOO‘s original toy line. This Buttobasoul Medal Holder is designed to replicate the front of the O-Medal Holder but features an illustration of Ankh’s broken Taka Core Medal sitting on the ground.

The Kamen Rider Buttobasoul Official Medal Holder -OOO- 深奥 will release in June 2018 for ¥8,100 before fees and shipping. Preorders will close on an undisclosed date.
