Two Japanese Power Rangers Dub Cast Members Announced
The Japanese dub of the upcoming Power Rangers movie will be released on July 15th in Japan.
It has been announced that Ryo Katsuji will voice Jason, the Red Ranger, and Hirose Alice, who portrayed Tackle in Movie Wars 2010, will voice Kimberly, the Pink Ranger.
Katsuji commented, “I feel a little uneasy playing Red, but there is a certain nostalgia and joy in being able to participate in something I watched as a child.”
In the movie, Jason was a promising football player who has become frustrated by a recent incident before accidentally gaining a mysterious power. Kimberly is a beautiful and popular girl who was expelled from high school.
Japanese fans made some of their thoughts known on when the international trailer for the film was made available. Some of those comments can be found here.
