CD singles for Uchu Sentai Kyuranger theme songs also announced.

The show’s opening, LUCKY STAR!, will be performed by Tomohiro Hatano. Hatano has had experience as a voice actor, having played a part in the Japanese dub of Pitch Perfect. Described as an ambitious singer continually refining his abilities, Hatano has experience performing at Roppongi’s Actor Theater in Hamatora THE STAGE, a stage adaptation of the Hamatora anime and manga project. This will be his solo debut.

Hatano comments “I am honored to be able to debut as the theme song singer for Uchu Sentai Kyuranger, the 41st series in the historic Super Sentai series. Being on stage has always been my dream and I hope to bring kids and adults together with this song for Kyuranger.”

Tsuyoshi Matsubara will perform the show’s ending theme song, Kyutama Dancing!. Matsubara was a member of Project DMM, who contributed songs to the Ultraman series for various years. He more recently performed the opening for Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, the 35th anniversary Sentai series.

Matsubara comments “Although it will be an ending song you can dance and sing along to, it will be somewhat different from what we’ve had before. It will perhaps be nostalgic to fathers and give mothers smiles as their children incorporate their mistakes into the dance.

The single will be released on March 15th and will come in a special “pop up jacket” edition as well as a standard edition. The special edition is 1,500 Yen while the standard edition is 1,200 Yen. Both editions contain the opening, ending, and a karaoke track version of each song.
