BOOM! Studios reveals some bonus details after the latest release of their Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic series.

Issue #9 of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic published by BOOM! Studios revealed a striking new character and “key architect behind the chaos that has plagued the Mighty Morphin team since the launch of the comic book series.”

Team TokuNet summarized and covered the Issue #9 in our previous Comics Corner post. The introduction of the White Ranger in the series would be the first Power Ranger created within the “Mighty Morphin” continuity since its airing over 23 years ago. According to BOOM! Studios, the White Ranger’s true identity will be revealed in Issue #11 and their origins in the following Issue #12.

Issue #11 will also include a solo story featuring Billy Cranston, the Blue Ranger.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is written by Kyle Higgins and illustrated by Hendry Prasetya. The White Ranger’s new design and concept was developed by Higgins, main cover artist Jamal Campbell, Saban Brands, and BOOM! Studios.
