The Live Action “Yo-Kai Watch” Film Preview Released

A preview for the third Yo-kai Watch film has been released. 

Level-5, the developer behind the popular Yo-kai Watch games, unveiled a new video for Yo-kai Watch The Movie: The Flying Whale and the Grand Adventure of the Double Worlds, Meow!

The preview shows a mixture of behind-the-scenes live action filming and animated segments. During the live action segments ten-year old Ryoka Minamide, known for being the “Juicy Kid” in the Kamen Rider gummy candy commercials, plays the human protagonist, Keita.

The film is set to release on December 17th 2016.

Those who purchase tickets in advance beginning on July 16 will receive a “Jibanyan Real Version Yo-kai Dream Medal” that will be compatible with the Yo-kai Watch 3 game.
