Former Power Rangers Cast Members Collaborate on ‘The Order’ Independent Movie
Former Rangers to collaborate on upcoming independent film.
An indiegogo fundraising page has been launched for an upcoming film entitled The Order. The film features various cast members from throughout Power Rangers’ history, including original series actors Austin St. John, David Yost, and Walter Jones.
The introduction on the campaign’s page reads:
After years of fans begging for a reunion, we knew this project would give the fans a grittier, edgier take on their favorite superheroes. We are putting the band back together for you! It’s our gift to our fans for their years of loyalty.
We are aware that there have been previous reunion crowd funding campaigns that are still in the pre-production phase. Our movie is COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT from any of these projects.
The page states the crew are looking to raise $250,000 for the film and reassures backers and fans that the film will be made whether or not the end goal is met.
The fundraiser will be active until July.
