DreamWorks’ Voltron Gets Comic Spin-Off

Voltron: Legendary Defender is coming to comics this July.

Legendary animation studio DreamWorks is bringing the classic combining robot franchise, Voltron, to Netflix this summer. During production, the show’s writers noticed that they didn’t have enough screen time to fit some of their ideas, so they decided to adapt them as comics instead.

Two of Legendary Defender’s writers, head writer Tim Hedrick and Mitch Iverson, will be co-writing the first of two scheduled miniseries. There is no artist attached yet.
