Thunderbirds Are Go

Amazon premiered the trailer for the Original Animated Kids Series Thunderbirds Are Go at WonderCon 2016.

The following is from Amazon’s official press release:

Thunderbirds Are Go is a reinvention of classic 1960s Thunderbirds and features Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) as Lady Penelope and brings back David Graham from the original Thunderbirds!

Amazon’s brand-new original animated kids series aimed at children aged 6 through 11, features the world’s most famous family of heroes, International Rescue. Thunderbirds Are Go catapults the five brave Tracy brothers back onto television screens, where they’ll pilot their remarkable, cutting-edge Thunderbird vehicles from the depths of the oceans to the highest reaches of space, performing impossible rescues across the globe.

Produced by ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures in collaboration with world-famous Weta Workshop, the series is made using a unique mixture of CGI animation and live-action model sets.

A special one-hour sneak preview will premiere on April 15th with Ring of Fire
Parts 1 and 2. Thunderbirds Are Go will officially premiere on April 22nd.
