Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Comic In Demand

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #0 enters third printing as #1 reaches 75,000 initial orders.

Last week we reported that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #0 sold out, and artist Goñi Montes put together a brand new cover for the second printing. That second run doesn’t hit shelves until February 17th, but it’s also already sold out.

To meet the unprecedented demand, BOOM! Studios is sending out a third printing of issue #0, which will hit stores on March 2nd, the same day as issue #1. Montes’ cover for the third printing features the Green Ranger holding the Sword of Darkness.

Issue #0 was an unexpected success for BOOM! Studios, and issue #1 is already on track to outsell it. So far, orders for the first issue have exceeded 75,000 copies. Readers who want to ensure they get a copy before they sell out need to speak to their local comic book seller and reserve a copy before it’s too late.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1 is written by Kyle Higgins and penciled by Hendry Prasetya. The main cover is illustrated by Jamal Campbell.
