Tsuburaya Releases Teaser for Upcoming Ultraman Project

Tsuburaya began their celebration campaign for the Ultra Series‘ 50th Anniversary with a new site and video.

2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the Ultra Series, which began with Ultra Q on January 2, 1966. This Friday they unveiled a new website to serve as the hub for the celebration, and uploaded a video to their YouTube channel teasing a new project.

The region-locked video shows clips from every major Ultra project, going from Ultra Q to 2015’s Ultraman X, and ending with an image of an Ultraman’s eyes and the text “What’s Next…?” The footage not only includes the main Ultras who’ve had their own tokusatsu shows, it also shows clips from animated projects like The Ultraman and international co-productions like Ultraman Great.
