Ultraman X Movie Trailers Released

The first trailers for next year’s Ultraman X: Here He Comes! Our Ultraman have been released.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ultra Series, Tsuburaya is releasing an Ultraman X movie that takes place after the events of the soon to be finished series. In the film, X will be joined by the Ultras who made guest appearances on the show: Ultraman Zero, Max, Ginga, Victory, and Nexus. He will also be joined by the original Ultraman and Ultraman Tiga. In addition to 2016 being Ultraman’s 50th anniversary, it is also Ultraman Tiga’s 20th.

Two trailers for the film were released today. Cinema Today uploaded a 30 sec. version, and Tsuburaya uploaded a 60 sec. version.

Two special guest stars will appear in the film. Takami Yoshimoto, who played Rena in Ultraman Tiga, will play an archaeologist that works with Xio. Michael Tamioka, who once guest starred in Ultraman Dyna, will play the man who breaks the seal to Hell and releases the film’s evil kaiju army.

Ultraman X: Here He Comes! Our Ultraman will be released in theaters in Japan on March 12th, 2016 and will be directed by the TV series’ head director, Kiyotaka Taguchi.
