Godzilla: Resurgence Teaser Released

A teaser for the upcoming Godzilla revival has been released.

CinemaToday has released a teaser for the latest Godzilla film, Godzilla Resurgence / Shin Godzilla, to be released next year in Japan.

This will be the first Japanese Godzilla film since 2004’s Godzilla: Final Wars. The time between films marks the longest period of time without a Japanese produced Godzilla film.

Resurgence is to be directed by anime veteran, Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion), and Shinji Higuchi (Gamera) with a script also penned by Anno. Godzilla Resurgence will be the 31st Godzilla film and is set to be released on July 29th, 2016 in Japan.
