A prolific director and character designer in the tokusatsu genre, Keita Amemiya has worked on everything from Kamen Rider (Kamen Rider ZO) and Super Sentai (Choujin Sentai Jetman) to projects such as Mechanical Violator HakaiderZeiram and Tekkouki Mikazuki. In 2005, Amemiya created his own tokusatsu franchise GARO, which followed the Makai Knight Saejima Kouga as he battled against the Horrors. Since then, GARO has branched out into multiple seasons and various tie-in movies as well as an anime series (GARO: The Animation) and 6-episode miniseries (Zero: Black Blood). The latest season of GARO, GARO -GOLDSTORM- SHOU, is the sequel season to 2013’s GARO: Yami o Terasu Mono.
