In 2005, Amemiya created his own tokusatsu franchise GARO, which followed the Makai Knight Saejima Kouga as he battled against the Horrors. Since then, GARO has branched out into multiple seasons and various tie-in movies as well as an anime series (GARO: The Animation) and 6-episode miniseries (Zero: Black Blood).
