Shinobi 17: Goodbye, StarNinger!
Tomorrow is the last day of the period Yoshitaka has given Kinji to qualify for apprenticeship. His haste makes him sloppy and he is ultimately unable to defeat the Ninningers. Kyuemon Izayoi appears before the troubled Kinji and tells him that even if he were to become Yoshitaka’s apprentice, the Shuriken of the End that Kinji covets is an Igasaki heirloom, hence unattainable for him.
Meanwhile, the yokai Umibozu appears. Kinji arrives to face him, along the Ninningers, However, among the fog that Umibozu has produced, he sees his father and older brother…
