The Tokusatsu Network recently sat down in an interview with Tenma Ranger himself to learn about the beginning of his acting career and the time leading up to and including his time on Gosei Sentai Dairanger.

The Tokusatsu Network had the honor of interviewing the hilarious Ei Hamura, who portrayed Gosei Sentai Dairanger’s Tenma Ranger!

In Part 1 of our interview, Hamura talks about the beginning of his acting career, the process leading up to filming Dairanger, including the audition and training for the role, and his thoughts on the tokusatsu genre itself.

Gosei Sentai Dairanger aired from February 1993 to February 1994 and is regarded as one of the most loved shows in Super Sentai history.

Be sure to subscribe and comment on the video to enter the prize draw of one of three signed autographs by Ei Hamura!

I've been floating around doing various things in the fandom for the past decade. Now living in Japan, writing news articles and occasionally starring in a show as "Only white guy in the background".

Wow! This was a really great interview from an awesome Tokusatsu veteran actor! I truly enjoyed Ei Hamura’s character Shoji from Dairangers. He was a bold, courageous, straight-forward person who never gave up, no matter how difficult the odds. Awesome job Hamura-San!!!
